THE HASTY TEAM
Putting the “haste” in its name, the Hasty Team rolls out the door on a moment’s notice and is the first on-scene to a search. They conduct a quick and thorough search of the immediate area where the subject was last seen. The Hasty Team essentially jump-starts the search process by gathering information, like clues or tracks, to isolate a specific area of the subject’s possible location or direction of travel. The team also conducts interviews with family members or friends of the missing person(s) to determine their physical description, clothing, behavior, medical history and outdoor experience. Using this information, trackers and K9 teams are then sent into the field to further the search.
